luckily the following episodes are better again, as far as i remember.
and i think there were semi-decent subs for that episode available somewhere else even when the episode was just released. if i remember right, the version i ended up watching with had the subs in a thick black box that was quite a bit larger than necessary.

it's just a matter of searching in the right place. and accepting a certain drop in quality as inevitable.
though i hope they fixed the sub version by now.
anywas, good thing i read the manga so i knew what was lost in the intelligeble subs.
